My work revolves around the idea of how you can utilize the human body as a shape in compositions but also how it compliments it. Not only are my pieces based on the simplicity and minimalism of Suprematism but also, the intricacy and details of chiaroscuro and how it uses shadow and darkness to emit a more dramatic and enigmatic tone.

 

I started to take from cartoons as a base for my earlier works to indicate more "tongue in cheek" ridiculousness and less of a sincere tone, but as of late, I have started to incorporate more maturity into my works to relay a more dramatic atmosphere by going as anatomically correct as I can with the "characters" in my works.

 

My paintings more or less likely incorporate me in them as I draw from my own experiences and emotions when making them.
